In the area
Because of the beautiful location there is no need to travel far.
You will find a Conad supermarket within walking distance , also a few bars , a pharmacy and some pizza take-aways.
Some nice restaurants are only a few minutes away by car.
Lucca centro storico is not far either , it will take you about 15 minutes by car or bike. There you will find many bars, shops and restaurants. Of course it is worthwhile to walk around the city wall of just over 4 kilometers, but the churches and the towers which you can climb (such as the famous Torre Guinigi with its trees) and the many other old buildings are definitely worth a visit.
The famous beaches of for example Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are within reach. The Cinque Terre and places such as Florence and Pisa are easy to get to and ideal for a day trip, but Pistoia, Pietrasanta and Siena are also great places to go to.
Many hiking trails are to be found in the mountains of the Monte Pisane and Alpi Apuane, but the region is really a mecca for cycling. The roads are generally fine. The many routes are solo, in groups or under supervision a true Tuscan Experience! The famous Monte Serra climb is just around the corner !
